Aid Courses
At Safe and Sound Outdoors we are able to offer a number of First Aid courses to a wide range of client groups. Using the 2 syllabuses of Rescue Emergency Care and also NUCO we can cover all requirements of HSE and also a number of outdoor qualification NGB's.
The types of courses are detailed below.
All courses can be arranged at your venue or
can be delivered at our usual venue in North
Wales.
Rescue Emergency Care - Levels of Courses.
Level 2 - Emergency (16 hour):
Suitable for most National Governing Body qualifications.
(BMC, BELA, CSLA, BCU, RYA etc) Covers the main
areas of first aid, and extends the basics to
cover procedure when away from the urban setting
where an ambulance may not be immediately available.
No previous first aid training required. Certificated
but no examination.

NUCO - Levels of Courses.
One Day Appointed Person (8hr): A minimum six-hour programme (one day) for those who wish to gain knowledge of emergency procedures and attain a recognised qualification in First Aid. At the end of the course all delegates will be able to demonstrate the essential knowledge and skills needed with threatening emergencies in the workplace

4 Day First Aid at Work : A
4 day course that complies with HSE regulations.
On completion of the course candidates will receive
an HSE recognised certificate valid for 3 years.
This certificate enables the holder to act as
a first aider under 1981 (First aid) regulations.
This courses is regulated by an external assessor
on day 4. The assessment is both written and practical.
